eoe Online Part 1

When it comes to online photo printing, it is considered a norm in the US and UK, but not here in Malaysia. When I was in the UK, I can easily get my photos printed and delivered to my doorstep with as much efforts as a few mouse clicks. So, when I recently came back to Malaysia, I thought of looking for a similar service to get my photos printed. To my surprise, there's only ONE website offering such service - or at least that's the only one I found so far. It's called eoe Online.

eoe Online is a website which let it's members to print, store and share photos online. Not to forget, they also let you shop for your new digital cameras online. I was tempted to give it a try, and I did! The e-print procedures were quite easy I'd say. Here's what you've to do:

1) Decide how you want to upload your photos - either using the provided Photo Express software, Easy Upload or File Upload (details HERE)
2) Upload your photos (you might want to login first so that you can still resume the process afterwards in case your internet got disconnected or any other problems).
3) Choose the size you want them to be printed and when its all done, just place the order!

4) Make payment - you can either bank-in the money or pay using credit card.

Another good thing is, they have a promotion where you can print 4R photos for RM0.30 each (no matter what's the quantity) and RM0.50 for 5R. And you get FREE delivery too if your total order is above RM35. They do delivery both locally and internationally. As for me, it says that it would take 3-4 days to be delivered.

I've just placed an order to print 174 photos. So, for now I guess I'll just have to wait and see if the service is as good as promised. Once I receive the photos, I'll update and give my feedbacks in Part 2.

Interesting Bokeh Shots

I was browsing the internet looking for a new wallpaper, and this time I thought of having a bokeh wallpaper. So, here are some of the nicest bokeh shots I've found. Looking forward to shooting a bokeh shot myself. Well, I gotta make lots of practise first!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this November!!!

Having read all Harry Potter books and watched all its previous movies, this one will also be a must-watch for me. Excited to see Harry & friends again, especially Ron! :) Enjoy the trailer.

NFS Underground

At the moment I'm just staying at home and spend the time mostly with my brother. Too bad our PS2 has became faulty after some of the electric cables in my house was struck by lightning. That means all the huge piles of PS2 games have to sit on the shelves and gather dust, a total waste!

So, the other day I went to my brother's room and found this old Need For Speed Underground CDs for PC. I was so bored and I thought why not give it a try, who knows it can still work and helps my brother and me do something rather than just stare at our faulty PS2.

Thank God, the CDs can still be read by my laptop and we successfully installed the game. Now, though the PS2 is no more working, I can still enjoy playing NFS Underground on my laptop. Yes, that is one old game, but at least it's better than none. Hmmm..I might check other PC games in the shop while I collect enough $$$ to fund a PS3 or PS2 Slim (PS3 games are too pricey, so maybe only PS2 is suitable for me).

Lie To Me Season 3 - now returns

Lie To Me Season 3 has now returned - time to watch Tim Roth & his gang again!!!

SLR everywhere!!

Just to share few of the things that happened within the last few days. I was away during the weekend to attend my brother's convocation day. It was nice to see happy faces everywhere, smiling and congratulating each other on the success and achievements the have made for the past years.

And these many happy faces were not left unnoticed by cameras - I mean SLR cameras especially. Yes, lotsss of SLR photogs were there to record the beautiful event. Looks like SLR cameras have become a must-have thing in every household in Malaysia today - or at least that is going to happen very soon.

My Photo of the Day

Just thought I could share this photo with you guys. I was outside the house, wanted to throw the rubbish and I heard something moving around the leaves in my mom's flower pots. I slowly turned my head to see where the sound came from and there it was - "mengkarung" not sure what exactly it is called in English but to me, it looks very similar to a skink.

So, I quickly (and quietly of course) went in and grabbed my camera, attached my 70-300mm telephoto and started snapping away. I managed to get some decent shots, and personally I like the one below the best. So, here it is, just for sharing. :)

Inception

I've read some good reviews about the movie 'Inception'. However, I still haven't got the chance to watch this movie yet. Here are some of the reviews that I've found and would like to share with you all. Also, I've attached the trailer in case you guys wanna have a peek into this film. Enjoy :) As for me, I'm definitely gonna watch this film. :)

"With its James Bond-on-acid action scenes and puzzle-within-a-maze-within-a-puzzle mind games, Inception is certainly the most daring and original blockbuster of the year, as well as a visual tour de force. If it only had a heart." - Tom Long, Detroit News

"The idea of moviegoing as communal dreaming is a century old. With Inception, viewers have a chance to see that notion get a state-of-the-art update. Take that chance: dream along with Christopher Nolan" - Richard Corliss, TIME Magazine

"All it asks of viewers is that they do something rare: engage the intellect." - James Berardinelli, ReelViews

What I am enjoying...

The ones I'm yet to finish:

Drama Series - Good company when you're jobless!

I've been back home for almost two months now. And one of the things I enjoy the most is watching drama series. Be it UK or US drama series, as long as it helps me to escape this boredom I'll download and watch it.

Drama series I've completed so far:
- Prison Break
- Heroes
- Skins (UK)
- Pushing Daisies
- Kyle XY
- Chuck
- Psych

The ones I want to finish:
- Lie To Me (almost done :) )
- The Mentalist
- 24
- Deep End (well, that is if I still have that much time to kill)

I'm also planning to share some reviews on the series here, when I get into my 'blogging vids and trailers mode' again - a time which I myself can't be sure. For now, I'll just post up the cover image for those series so you guys can check it out if there's any that suit your interests.

I'm back!!

It's been sometime, well, a long time since I last updated this blog. I was kinda surprised to notice that my last post was dated 3rd May 2009 - that's almost 1.5 years ago! Man, I really need to be more consistent if I am to maintain this blog.

Well, here you go. I'm planning to write a bit on what I've been up to lately ( or for the last 1.5 years for that matter) and try to share some interesting links like I did in some of my previous posts. It's an established fact that I'm no great, interesting blogger, but hope my posts will be something of use to you guys. That's all for now, will update more later. Cheers!
